Chipley is perhaps best known for Falling Waters State Park, which stages some drama within its 100-foot-deep, 20-foot-wide sinkhole; when water levels are sufficiently high, a 73-foot waterfall crashes inside. Arts and cultural events are also a staple here throughout the year, such as the annual Panhandle Watermelon Festival that sweetens the scene at the Washington County Agricultural Center. Getting Here & Around: Find easy access to Interstate 10 and State Highways 77, 79, 231, 331, 20 and 90. Nearby cities include Panama City Beach and Tallahassee.
